The Chester County Food Bank (CCFB) seeks to create a food secure Chester County. We mobilize our community to ensure access to real, healthy food. CCFB is a county wide, non-profit organization located in Exton, PA and has been in existence since 2009. CCFB works with over 150 agency partners to distribute over 3 million pounds of food annually to 10% of Chester County Residents.
The Raised Bed Garden Partner program is housed in the CCFB department of Food Access & Education, which works to empower adults, children, and families to participate in their local food system by giving them the space to choose, grow, cook and learn about fresh, healthy foods.

How many garden beds are you requesting CCFB support in installing?
CCFB can support building new 10ft by 3ft by 12" or 16" garden beds for the cost of the lumber. You may take care of this portion yourself without CCFB involvement, if you prefer.
When are you hoping to install the beds? Please be specific. Guided builds with CCFB staff and volunteers take place in either March/April or September/October.
